Revive – Tank at the Reunification Palace

“Revive” is an experience to find a passage allowing us to be projected into a past-present.  This time frame is “possessed” by the contemporary history of Vietnam, not only because of its length and its violence through successive wars but because all events were visible to the world.

No one can see a picture of Vietnam without being influenced by these iconic photos.

This photo is a composite image of two pictures , one photo taken during the 40th anniversary of the Reunification Event of 75  which was an opportunity to replay these hours of liberation by a fiction of popular jubilation. The other photo is the iconic photo with a tank crashing into the gate of the former South Government Building.
