Angkor – Prayers
Angkor is one of the most important archaeological sites in South-East Asia. Stretching over some 400 km2, including forested area, Angkor Archaeological Park contains the magnificent remains of the different capitals of the Khmer Empire, from the 9th to the 15th century – unesco.org
Because Angkor Wat is the most sacred temple, it has many altars and stupa for prayers.
When all the crowd of tourists are finally gone after the sunset, these temples are returning to their initial purpose : to provide the sensation of infinity through meditation.
