3 Graces in Ao Dai
The word “ao dai” was originally the outfit worn at the court of the Nguyễn Lords at Hue in the 18th century, used by both men and women. It is now traditional for weddings, celebrations, a usual uniform for female teachers and students.
This vintage photo was taken in front of the Opera House of Saigon during a choir performance. It shows how this traditional dress can have different styles but always to highlight the grace of Vietnamese women.
